John Lyman Beecher

Beecher, one of the best known pioneers of San Joaquin County died Thursday afternoon at his home four miles from Stockton, after an illness of several months. He was 70 years of age and leaves a widow, four sons and a daughter; the latter the wife of Sheriff Sibley. His eldest son is ex assemblyman Beecher.
